Plassen hav fått navnet sitt etter brua over Buåa og den som antakelig bygde brua. I 1863 ble navnet Svartfoss brukt.
I 1865 var dyreholdet I ku, 1 sau og 1 geit. Utsæden var dyreholdet I hest, ingen utsæd. I seinere tid har det vært en del sauer.

1) Knutbrau ble trolig ryddet av Nils Anderson, Högset, f. ca. 1814. Han ble også kalt "Rauen". På sine gamle dager reiste han til USA. Han kome til Knutbrau etterat kona hans, enke Dorothe Ljønerholt f. 1795, døde in 1846. De var g. i 1845. Stesønnene løste ut Nils Anderson i Ljønerholtet. Nils Anderson var g. 2) 12/5 1856 m. 244 Eliza Sanders is buried in the Sanders Cemetery in Highland County, Ohio. She is buried next to her husband, Oliver H. Sanders.

Her tombstone inscription lists his birthdate as March 5, 1814, and lists her date of death as September 14, 1899.

Township, and is just below the village of New Market if traveling east from State Route 62.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2007 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Sartell for Elsie M. Laubach age 87, of Sartell, who died Tuesday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Lauren Germann will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-9 Thursday at Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Friday at the church. Parish prayers will be at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Elsie was born June 30, 1920 in Gregory, South Dakota to Henry and Emma (Hlavac) Preslicka. She married Dominic Laubach on July 3, 1942 in Olivia. Elsie and Don owned Don?s Café in Royalton from 1953-1969 and Don?s Country Inn in Rice from 1975 - 1978. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. Elsie loved her home and her family, and she was talented in so many things. She loved decorating her home which she took great pride in. Elsie loved flower gardening, flower arranging, and spending her winters in Texas. They spent twenty winters in Texas.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Laubach of Buffalo, Dorothy (Fred) Lamp of Royalton, Raymond (Audrey) Laubach of Royalton, and Donald (LaVerne) Laubach of St. Joseph; brothers and sisters, Henry Preslicka of Willmar, Edward Preslicka of Kandiyohi, Evelyn Kaiser of Hector, Gladys Vejtruba of Lake Lillian, and LeNore Turner of Black River Canyon, AZ; twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dominic on Nov. 8, 2005; and sister, Ellen McIlree.
