What's New (past 30 days)

I recently received membership in the Society of Mayflower Descendants.  I had to prove each generation from my father, Gene Hughes, through his mother, Vera Vance Hughes, to my Mayflower ancestor, George Soule in 1620.  Anyone who descends from Grandma Vera can also apply for membership.  Please contact me for details.  My line is:

George Soule, Susannah Soule, Francis West, Peter West, Jonathan West,

George West, John B. West, George W. West, Mary Ellen West, George Nelson Vance,

Vera Margaret Vance, Gene Lamont Hughes, and me.

I have also been accepted as a member into the Daughters of the American Revolution.  My patriot is Jacob Phillips born in 1750 in New York.   This line is from my mother, Leona Maxwell (Hughes), Luella Handshaw (Maxwell), Grace Mulholland (Handshaw), James Mulholland, Christina Keller (Mulholland), Margaret Phillips (Keller), to her father, Jacob Phillips.
