      Mathilda Gunderson Dies at Centuria. Mrs. Matilda Gunderson died at the home of her daughter, Agnes, at Centuria, January 31, aged 84 years, five months and 29 days.

      Funeral Services were held February 4th, from the Park funeral chapel and from the Concordia Lutheran church of Arland, with interment in the Independent cemetery at Arland. Rev. David Lovaas, assisted by Rev. O.L. Lund officiated at all services. J.C. Park accompanied the remains to Arland. The pall bearers wer Ole Olsvig, Almund Moen, Andrew Hansen, Lewis Nedland, Ed Solberg, and Andrew Solberg. Mrs. Gunderson had been a member of the Concordia church for many years.

      Deceased was born in Eilskoven, Norway, August 2, 1856, and came to the U.S. with her parents in 1862. She was married to Nels Museus in 1875. Two children were born to this union. Mr. Museus died in 1885. She was married to Knute Gunderson in 1887 and to this union six children were born.
