Samuel Handshaw Rites Held Here Saturday: Died at Age of 82. Funeral services were held for Samuel Handshaw, age 82 years, on Saturday, March 25, at the Roschen Funeral Chapel. Rev. John Hall of the Methodist church officiated and interment was made at the Lakewood Cemetery. Mr Handshaw was born in Pennsylvania, June 21, 1856 and came to Minnesota at the age of nine. He owned and managed a hotel at Zumbro Falls for a few years, then came to Lake City where he engaged in farming. His wife preceded him in death 30 years ago. He is survived by two sons, Jesse of Lake City and Henry of St. Paul, and also a daughter, whose address is unknown.
