      Funeral Rites for John Vance on Wed.

      Funeral services for John B. Vance, who died Jan. 12, in the town of Warren, were held Wednesday at the chapel in the cemetery here, Rev. H. A. Stoughton officiating. Burial will be made in the cemetery at Roberts in the spring.

      Mr. Vance was born on Nov. 26, 1846. He was married to Mary E. West on Nov. 26, 1875. His wife died thirteen years ago. Nine children, six daughters and three sons, survive.
